Gifted chicken earns a name as a high-flier

Residents in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, have dubbed a young hen the "flying chicken" after seeing it fly for 50 meters.

The pullet's master, surnamed Xu, lives on the seventh floor of a residential building. On Sunday, when Xu took out the chicken from a carton in the corridor, it suddenly flew outside the window and landed on a rain cover on the third floor of another building 50 meters from Xu's home.
