Injured man kidnaps four in bid for compensation
A man in Xiangtan, Hunan province, was recently sentenced to 15 days in detention and fined 500 yuan ($76), for having illegally detained four people for up to 60 hours.
The man, surnamed Xu, had a quarrel that escalated into a physical fight with another man, surnamed Liu, in a local bar on Feb 5. In the chaos, Xu suffered a head injury.
