Villager scrimps to give neighbors a free gala
A 63-year-old riverway cleaner in Taiping village of Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, has held a Spring Festival Gala in her village for 11 years.
This year, Xu Xiuzhen asked eight performance teams to give various shows in the village square. The event attracted hundreds of her neighbors, as well as people from nearby villages.
