Husband forces wife into online marriage hoax

A couple in Baodi district, Tianjin municipality, was detained on Feb 8 on suspicion of defrauding a man by coaxing him into marriage.

The woman chatted online on several occasions with a divorced man surnamed Liu, who was from East China's Zhejiang province, and told him she was also divorced. They established a relationship and Liu soon proposed to her.
