Two-time World Cup winner cannot play on due to lingering injury

SAO PAULO - Brazilian soccer legend Ronaldo, who helped his country to two World Cup trophies and is still the tournament's top scorer, is to retire on Monday, Brazilian media reported.

"I can't take any more," the 34-year-old star told the Estado de Sao Paulo newspaper.
