ABC to acquire Jiahe Life
Agricultural Bank of China Ltd plans to acquire Jiahe Life Insurance Co for 2.59 billion yuan ($400 million), according to a company statement to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Agricultural Bank will hold a 51 percent stake in Jiahe following the purchase of about 1.04 billion new shares of the insurer, the statement said.
