ATM jam gives customer a three-hour panic attack

A man in Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, waited for three agonizing hours by an ATM on Tuesday, after the machine jammed and gobbled 9,900 yuan ($1,503) of his cash deposit.

The man, surnamed Chen, made three deposits at around 7:20 pm. The first two worked fine, adding 10,000 yuan and 9,000 yuan to his account. But during the third deposit the machine rejected a folded 100-yuan banknote, and soon stopped working altogether.
