Beijing students are losing out on needed sleep

Like most students, Yin Yibing, 14, begins her day at a gallop.
Her day starts at 6:30 am with a short struggle to escape the comforts of the duvet. Having done that, Yin washes, dresses, packs her bag and eats her breakfast in under 20 minutes.
These rapid actions aren't a call for praise. The senior student at Beijing Yucai Middle School has streamlined her waking process to allow extra time in bed, not because she is lazy but because she is exhausted.
