Monopoly reform: Making industrial wages more even

By Hao Nan | China Daily | Updated: 2011-01-18 07:45

The Chinese government is expected to continue with its fiscal and tax reforms under the 12th Five-Year Plan (2011-2015), especially in income taxes, according to a central bank policy committee member.

The remark comes from Li Daokui, an academic and bank official, who was speaking at a finance forum on Dec 15 in the city of Tianjin, as a warm-up to the 2010 CCTV Businesses Leader of the Year Awards.

Other prominent economists, business leaders and local government officials took part the event, which centered on the income distribution issue.
