Wenger confident Arsenal can end trophy drought

LONDON - Arsene Wenger insists Arsenal can cope with the pressure of trying to end the club's barren run of more than five years without a trophy.

Wenger's side, who has gone without silverware since winning the 2005 FA Cup, travels to Ipswich on Wednesday for the League Cup semifinal first leg after narrowly avoiding a shock defeat in the FA Cup against Leeds.

It took a last-gasp penalty from Cesc Fabregas to secure a 1-1 third round draw and a replay at Elland Road but until then it had looked like another opportunity missed for Arsenal.
