Beijing's Old Summer Palace is getting a taste of winter this year as the historical park hosts its first ever ice and snow festival.
The Imperial Ice and Snow festival, which opened Dec 22, lets the city's tourists dash through the snow, fly down ski slopes and take in the splendor of the 300-year-old palace grounds.
