Flood-stricken Pakistan receives aid from CHEC

BEIJING - Sun Ziyu, chairman and president of China Harbour Engineering Co Ltd (CHEC), handed over a 700,000 yuan ($105,000) check to Masood Khan, Pakistan's ambassador to China, in the company's most recent effort to bring relief to the flood-stricken nation.

The ceremony took place at Pakistan's embassy in China on the afternoon of Nov 30.

"When we heard about the flood, the national disaster of Pakistan, all China Harbour staff believed we should do something for our Pakistani friends," said Sun at the ceremony.
