Judy Leissner, CEO of Grace Vineyard
Judy Leissner's involvement in Grace Vineyard operations began in 2002, with a vision of "encouraging people to pursue a higher standard of life" and "developing a high quality wine industry in China that the Chinese could be proud of".
When Leissner joined Grace Vineyard, it was very small and had limited resources. She soon turned that deficit situation around and started making a profit. Her entrepreneurship and perseverance in making high quality wine has gained the recognition and praise of international critics.
Grace Vineyard's red wine, Deep Blue, is the only domestic wine to be served to passengers in first and business class sections of Cathay Pacific Airlines. The company was also chosen as a case study for 2008 MBA courses at the Harvard Business School.
