BEIJING

Manned moon landing 'in 2020'

Ouyang Ziyuan, chief scientist of China's lunar exploration program, said China could launch its first manned moon landing as early as 2020 and that the moon's south pole has the ideal conditions for the landing site, Mirror Evening News reported on Sunday.
