Rich kid spurns family wealth, works his way to college

Although born with a silver spoon, a 21-year-old college student in Chongqing municipality chose not to rely on his rich family, but to pay off his tuition by doing part-time jobs ever since he was in primary school.

Yu Jiaming, whose family owns fixed assets worth several millions of yuan, said he started polishing people's shoes and selling newspapers on the streets when he was in primary school.
