Top legislator Wu calls on both sides to enhance economic cooperation

BEIJING - China and Russia enjoy a strong partnership that precludes any need or desire for competition, a senior Moscow official said at the conclusion of a state visit here on Tuesday.

"We should make use of our complementary economies and continue to enhance cooperation on the basis of our traditional friendship," said Sergei Mironov, Chairman of the Russian Federation Council, wrapping up his three-day visit to China.
