Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts maintained a share of the lead in the AFC South by easing past the resurgent Washington Redskins 27-24 on Sunday.
Manning carved up the Redskins by completing 25 of 38 passes for 307 yards and two touchdowns, while running back Joseph Addai rushed for 128 yards on 17 carries and a touchdown to power the Colts to their best game on the ground this season.
The Colts' margin of victory would have been wider had they not lost three fumbles in the second half that led to 10 points by the opportunistic Redskins.
