LNG agreement to be signed

Woodside Petroleum Ltd, Australia's second-largest oil producer, may reach an initial agreement to supply China with liquefied natural gas (LNG) from its Browse project by the end of 2010, George J. Gilboy, the company's general manager in China, said.

"We are currently in detailed discussion with Chinese State-owned companies about LNG supply and we are interested in reaching key terms in the next few months or even by the end of the year," he said.
