Pregnant woman reports taxis that gave her a miss

A pregnant woman in Changchun, Jilin province, has reported some 20 taxis to the authorities, alleging none of them gave her a ride because the distance she wanted to travel was too short.

Yang, who is eight months pregnant, said she waited at the gate of Changchun University of Science and Technology for more than an hour on Sept 30, but failed to get a taxi to take her home, which was just a kilometer away.
