Mega Show Part 1 & 2, a trade expo for international buyers, will take place this October in Hong Kong.

The weeklong events will host more than 4,700 suppliers showcasing Asian products for export.

Since 1992, Mega Show Part 1 has highlighted giftware, house wares and toys. It is regarded as a "must-attend marketplace" by over 55,000 buyers.

The event, to take place Oct 20 to 23, features a new layout clearly demarcating major merchandise sectors.

Now, the international buying community can more effectively source, compare and select from the thousands of products on display, said organizers.

Over 3,700 suppliers from Europe, Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland and other Asian regions will be in attendance at Part 1.

Mega Show Part 2 will be held Oct 28-30. It will feature fashion accessories and a wide selection of home dcor and household products. Home improvement and gardening will also be highlighted.

"This compact, well-edited showcase of over 1,000 companies completes the Hong Kong buying calendar and presents products from companies based in Asia-Pacific and China," said organizers.

Office and Stationery, following its successful run at last year's expo, will be supported by over 100 companies from China.

Concurrent lighting, hardware, and building decoration materials events will take place during the show.

These events provide further reason for buyers to source, compare and select from a wide range of related products, said organizers.

"Mega Show Part 1 and Part 2 have a proven reputation based on exceptional value, innovation and variety," the event's organizers added.

More than 800 new companies will be in attendance this year.
