Woman gets 13 years for beating lying lover to death

A court in Zhengzhou, capital of Henan province, recently sentenced a woman to 13 years in prison for thrashing her boyfriend to death with help from her relatives.

Yuan, 48, a divorcee, said she, along with three relatives, beat up her boyfriend, with whom she had been in a relationship since 2005, because he lied he was a government official when, in fact, he was just an appliance technician.
