Blanc pleased by patience

China Daily | Updated: 2010-10-11 08:12

PARIS - Laurent Blanc praised the patience shown by his team after goals in the last 10 minutes from Loic Remy and Yoann Gourcuff earned France a 2-0 win over Romania in its Euro 2012 qualifier on Saturday.

"The first half was difficult. The opposition were well-organized, they played lots of long balls and we hadn't really managed to make any clear chances," said the France coach.

"I asked the players to be patient and not get annoyed. There's nothing wrong with winning a game in the last 10 minutes.
