Cars eligible for subsidy

At the end of last month, the Chinese government released a third category of energy-saving car models that are eligible for subsidy, following the previous two lists announced in June and August.

The new category contains 68 energy-saving models with engine displacement of and below 1.6 liters. Among them, 45 are made by domestic carmakers and 23 by Sino-foreign joint ventures.
