TomTom to launch JV
TomTom NV, Europe's biggest maker of personal navigation devices, and AutoNavi Holdings Ltd will start a joint venture to expand in the Chinese market.
The venture will be 51 percent held by AutoNavi, a Beijing-based provider of digital maps and navigation services, and 49 percent by Amsterdam-based TomTom, the companies said in a statement on Friday.
