Rite of passage

The negative labels for those Chinese born in the 1990's should be replaced by compliments given for the outstanding job of the volunteers serving the Expo 2010 Shanghai. Once believed to be self-centered, snobbish and childish, this generation has grown up and learned how to shoulder its responsibilities, for example, by offering help to others, solving problems independently and cooperating with other people.
