The city's caf culture may be thriving, but traditional Chinese teahouses never go out of fashion. Despite the fact that some local teahouses have become unapologetic tourist traps, teahouses appeal to foreign visitors with their classical Chinese designs and knowledge of the country's expansive tea culture. From tourist traps to idyllic, tucked-away teahouses, tea lovers have a range of places to go for a fine cup of Chinese tea.
