Italian regional cuisine
Taste Italy with Mario Cittadini Italy's cuisine is as exciting, varied and wondrous as the country itself. Italian cooking is really regional cooking, fiercely individualistic and shaped by local geography, culture and history.
Our 2010 journey through the regions continues with Dacappo's Michelin Star Chef Mario Cittadini. This September we visit the Island of Sardinia (Sardegna in Italian).
Sardinia is a paradise island immersed in the Mediterranean Sea. The cuisine of Sardinia is a celebration of natural foods and produce from the land and the surrounding sea. Sardinian cuisine is both simple and refined. The menu will be available daily in Daccapo and offers both a la carte selection as well as a specially tailored set three-course menu, for lunch and dinner.

Design for change contest
The contest asks children to design solutions for problems they encounter in their lives, schools, neighborhoods or communities.
The challenge is simple: team up with four other kids, feel out a relevant problem in your environment, imagine ways in which it can be improved or solved all together, do something about it and then share your stories by entering them in the contest.

Holland Malando Light Music Orchestra has a long history.
With more than 20 years' development, Malando is a popular orchestra worldwide. In 1999, Danny Malando, the third generation of Malando family and the grandson of Arie Massland, began to take charge of the orchestra and become the new orchestra leader.
In the run-up to the national holiday, Danny Malando and
the Malando Orchetra will
give Beijing's music fans a concert filled with passion and romance.
The concert will combine light music with dance performances such as the Waltz, Tango, Cha-Cha and Samba. The audience will get an opportunity to interact with the performances on the stage.

Wire Tuazon solo show
Wire Tuazon is one of today's most prominent representatives of Philippine contemporary art.
Born in 1973 in Angono, Tuazon is one of the founders of Surrounded by Water - an innovative alternative art movement of the 1990s.
In this show, the artist attempts to mislead the mind of the viewer. The poetry of the images, the crude evocative force of the truisms and the ambiguity of the title all converge on the canvas.
