Daxing improves transportation, builds parks

The Beijing government will integrate the resources of Daxing district and Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA), narrowing the gap between the northern and southern parts of the city.

Almost 38 billion yuan will be invested in transportation, ecology and energy facilities in Daxing over the next three years.

Of 22 proposed infrastructure projects, more than half are set to improve transportation. Two subway lines into the city's heart will be constructed, as well as an expressway and a number of new roads.
