Lecture: Laozi and philosophical Taoism

Taoism, one of the two native Chinese religious and philosophical traditions along with Confucianism, uses poetic, symbolic, and paradoxical expressions to describe the ultimate power which animates everything in existence. This lecture will explain the key Taoism concepts such as the meaning of Tao, no-action, "softness overcoming hardness" and simplicity.
