Two of the hottest stars in Chinese movies have joined action hero Donnie Yen in the wilds of Yunnan province for the martial arts vehicle Wu Xia, a $20 million production directed by Peter Chan. The almost impossibly good-looking Takeshi Kaneshiro hooks up with the improbably attractive Tang Wei in the lead roles. Kaneshiro will play a detective on the trail of a killer, portrayed by Yen, while Tang is the love interest.

Kaneshiro's agent has been playing down rumors the star is married after he wore a ring on his left hand on the set of the film, thereby giving hope to single women everywhere that he is still available.

In contrast, Chinese actor Sha Yi confirmed rumors at a press conference this week that he and actress Hu Ke are an item - but added they are not married yet.
