Zhang enjoys international exposure

Zhang Hao is probably the quickest Chinese sportsman to rise from knowing nothing about a particular sport to representing it at the international level.

After only 10 months of training, the then 21-year-old represented China at the 2008 Australian Football International Cup, where the team finished 15th of 16 sides, with only a victory over India.

The result came as no surprise as only about 30 Chinese people play the game which requires 18 players on the field.
