Pair executed for horrific killings

A Beijing man convicted of intentional homicide was executed on Tuesday after his death sentence was reviewed by the Supreme Court.

The execution was one of two carried out in the capital on the same day.

Ma Fusheng, 48, was an unemployed man who had a history of lawlessness. In 1994, he was detained for five months for hooliganism and, in 2006, he was convicted of obstruction of justice and sentenced to six months, Li Jia, the press officer with the City No 1 Intermediate Court told METRO on Tuesday.
