China Daily | Updated: 2010-07-02 07:53

Ever wondered what the future of transportation will look like? The short movie at the SAIC-GM Pavilion shares its views with visitors in a high-tech, 4D theater.

Using a 360-degree theater screen 6.5-meters high and 35-meters wide, and motion seats, the theater in the SAIC-GM Pavilion has received positive feedback from visitors looking for the ultimate 4D movie experience.

The movie focuses on three different stories and how modern transportation has changed lives. Set in Shanghai in 2030, the movie shows cars that can park on balconies, how transportation helps a blind girl to go anywhere in the city and how a pregnant woman can quickly get to the hospital when she's in labor.
