Documentary reveals it's a dog's life

A documentary about mongrel cats and dogs has been released to spotlight the animal meat industry and bring attention to pet prejudice.

The production was showed at the award ceremony of China Awareness Campaign for Non-pure Bred Cats and Dogs in Beijing on Saturday.

Named Investigation of Non-pure Bred Dogs in Guizhou Province, the documentary offers an in-depth look at the flourishing dog meat business in Guizhou province, from dog slaughterhouses to dog meat restaurants.
