Cricket Sixes open in Beijing

BEIJING - The third Beijing Cricket Sixes will swing away at the Dulwich College sports ground on Friday.

The three-day event will feature 15 teams including sides from Australia, Malaysia, Shanghai, Hong Kong and also a team comprising Beijing-based West Indians.

The tournament is going from strength to strength and tournament director Simon Pendergast said he was particularly happy to see athletes from other sporting codes take part in this year's event.
