Tan to score music for Jia's period drama
Film director Jia Zhangke (left) will join hands with renowned musician Tan Dun for his next film In the Qing Dynasty.
Tan will score the music for Jia's first period drama, which will begin filming in October. Almost all of Jia's previous works have been about small town youngsters' dreams and pains in modern times.
