Teacher robbed during World Cup fieldtrip

A Beijing teacher in South Africa for the World Cup was robbed in Johannesburg on Monday, local media reported on Wednesday.

The teacher, surnamed Wang, from Beijing International Studies University, was in the country with a colleague and 10 students from the university's journalism program to report on the World Cup in Cape Town.

Li Lu, one of the students on the trip, said on her microblog at Renren.com on Monday that the teacher was robbed after going alone to visit the bathroom.
