Cops stop man from blowing himself up

Police saved the life of a suicidal man on Tuesday after he tried to open a gas tank at his home, Beijing Times reported.

Police said the man called his ex-wife and told her he planned to kill himself by opening the tank. She arrived immediately and called the police for help. The man refused to open the door and officers entered the house through a window and subdued him.
