Duties on EU X-ray equipment

The Ministry of Commerce said in a preliminary ruling on Wednesday that it will require deposits on imports of X-ray inspection equipment from the European Union, as it has found evidence of dumping which has caused substantial damage to the domestic industry.

From Thursday, companies importing X-ray equipment from the EU will be required to set aside deposits with rates ranging from 48.2 percent to 71.8 percent based on the level of dumping, said the ministry.
