CCTV-9 sets up special coverage for foreign fans

"Sports Scene", CCTV-9's flagship sports show, is promising to deliver a World Cup to remember for English-speaking soccer fans.

Executive producer Wang Xin said: "This World Cup special is supposed to be fun, entertaining and informative as well. We will try to bring you everything you need to know, on and off the field, in an entertaining way in this half-hour program."

Starting with the opening night of the event on June 11, "Sports Scene" will be live every night of the tournament. The show will include highlights and analysis of the games that have finished and instant updates of games in progress.
