Exercise boosts good cholesterol
A low fat diet on its own isn't enough to get high cholesterol levels under control.
While low density lipoprotein (LDL) levels, also known as "bad cholesterol," fall with a low fat diet, the values for high density lipoprotein HDL, or "good cholesterol" also sink. These are the findings of Professor Martin Halle of the German Society of Lipid-Metabolism.
