Man jailed for rape of 9-year-old girl
A man in his late 50s was sentenced to eight years in prison and ordered to pay more than 80,000 yuan in compensation for raping a 9-year-old girl. The verdict was handed down by the Miyun county court.
The man, surnamed Zhang, raped the girl in October, when she visited his home to play with his granddaughter.
