In spite of the morning mist, Harrison Wong, vice-president of Szitic Commercial Property Co, was beaming with energy.
During the past 12 years, Wong has lived and worked in Shenzhen with relatively few chances to return to his hometown of Beijing, which explains why the moment he departed his plane, Wong sucked up a full breath of Beijing's musty air and hummed a little Peking Opera.
He was in town because Tongzhou district government had invited him to attend a one-day seminar, under the theme of finding investment opportunities for commercial properties in Tongzhou new town.
