The Henan parents who sparked public anger in Beijing for caging their children and placing them on a tricycle were escorted home by members of their village committee Monday morning.
Six children wearing shabby clothes were found on the street on Saturday in Fengtai district. Three were locked in a mobile cage with a dog.
Liu Chunjiang, a spokesman with Fengtai district police, told METRO his office contacted the vagrant family's county government right after they were found on Saturday to urge people to pick them up.
