Parents of caged kids asked to leave scene by police

Six children were found Saturday near You'an Road in Fengtai district, some caged with a dog, according to a media report.

When police arrived on the scene, an eyewitness told Beijing Times, they discovered three children locked in a cage on top of a tricycle. Standing beside the vehicle were another three children and the parents. The witness claimed after a short chat with the father, the police allowed him to push his children away without unlocking them.

A resident of the neighborhood, surnamed Wang, told the paper she first heard a dog barking when she left her home at around 6 pm. She saw the tricycle parked beside a nearby road, loaded with a metal cage in which sat three children and a black dog.
