NEW YORK - Embattled Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said on Thursday he planned to make the best of his second chance to play in the NFL.
"I've put a lot of thought into my life and decisions I've made in the past," said Roethlisberger, who in April was suspended for six regular season games by Commissioner Roger Goodell for violating the league's personal conduct policy.
"I've been working closely with the commissioner on ways to make changes, corrections," Roethlisberger told said in his first comments since the suspension.
