A prodigious feast

Chinese edition of the prestigious Piano aux Jocabins will feature an Armenian and two French musical geniuses. Chen Jie reports

Piano aux Jocabins, held every September in Toulouse, France, is one of Europe's most prestigious piano festivals. Since 2005, a Chinese edition of the festival has been running in Beijing and Shanghai, to present some of Europe's brightest contemporary keyboard stars.

This year, the festival will feature two talented French pianists and a young Armenian prodigy. They will give recitals at Beijing's Forbidden City Concert Hall on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and then move to Shanghai's Oriental Art Center on June 11, 12 and 13.
