Work resumes at Honda plant

Honda Motor Co reopened a parts plant in China as most workers ended a walkout that shut down all of the company's production in the country. The factory resumed operations even as the company continues to negotiate with some workers, said Takayuki Fujii, a Beijing-based spokesman at the Tokyo-based company.

CITIC to sell brokerage stake

CITIC Securities Co plans to sell a 53 percent stake in China Securities Co, one of its brokerage units, for 8.6 billion yuan ($1.26 billion), it said in a statement on Wednesday.

CITIC would still hold a 7 percent stake in China Securities.

Sinopec gets NDRC approval

Sinopec Group has received approval from the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) for a deepwater drilling project in Brazil, the planning agency said in a statement on Wednesday.
