Gang jailed, fined for helping pair obtain US visas illegally

Four gang members, convicted of selling fake materials necessary for visa applications, received sentences of up to nine months with fines of between 5,000 and 10,000 yuan each, Chaoyang district court said Wednesday.

The gang was comprised of Wang Yongli, Li Hua, Zhang Yu and Shang Weiwei.

Wang, 41, from Beijing, is the manager of Beijing Ruijing Holiday Travel Agency, said Dong Geng, president of No 1 criminal tribunal at Chaoyang court.
