Five are convicted in two drug cases

Methamphetamine sellers, buyers are facing prison terms of 9 to 15 years

Two men who admitted transporting almost a kilogram of methampetamine to Beijing from Shenzhen were convicted Tuesday by Beijing No 2 Intermediate People's Court.

Gou Xiandong and Qu Anping carried 993.11 grams of the drug to Beijing on Jan 20 and were captured at 5 pm that day in a hotel in Fengtai district.
